My husband recently had a heart transplant and is on a salt restricted diet. I bought several of your products to add such flavor to my cooking without additional salt. These air dried mixed vegetables are fantastic! Wow! what a taste they add to all my soups, pasta dishes and stews! Talk about flavor! Our favorite breakfast now is broth with these air dried mixed veggies and Ling-Ling dumplings, topped with a fried egg. My husband took one taste of this mix right out of the bag and said, "You gotta buy more of this!" So I did! :) I even grind this up with black pepper and garlic powder a bottle to use as a spice. I love how it works in all my savory dishes. Salt free never tasted so good!

I am impressed with the excellent quality of the Air Dried Mixed Vegetables. When I opened the bag, the incredible scent just blew me away! The aroma of fresh picked green and white onion, chives, carrots, hot and sweet peppers, and corn was just amazing! I poured some into my hand and ate it on the spot right out of the bag and it was absolutely delicious! I grabbed my husband Mel, and told him "Here! You gotta taste this!" He looked at me funny but took a taste and exclaimed, "OH WOW! That is going to make some incredible soup!" I have already ground some in my mortar with some granulated garlic and fresh ground black pepper as a no salt "Mrs Dash" equivalent for my spice cabinet. I can't wait to play with this stuff in my recipes! I can use this on popcorn and in any savory dish or soup for a one-two flavor punch. Thanks for such a wonderful product!

Delicious to snack on, or toss into soups, stews, casseroles, and fried rice.
Fried Rice
Combine a half cup Air Dried Mixed Veggies, 3 cups of short grain (Asian sticky) rice, and about 3 ½ cups water in a rice cooker and let it cook.
When the veggie/rice mix is nearly finished cooking scramble 2 eggs in a small pan and set aside.
In a wok with a little oil, stir-fry diced or thinly sliced meat (use fresh or leftover chicken, pork, or beef). Add thinly sliced green onions and whatever else appeals and stir-fry until hot and cooked appropriately.
When the rice cooker kicks off add the cooked veggie/rice mixture to the other wok ingredients, add the scrambled eggs ,and then mix it all together breaking up the rice into individual grains while adding a generous amount of a good fermented Japanese or Korean soy sauce and more oil to taste.
For beef, try making a sauce of brown sugar, soy, garlic and ginger in the wok, cook the beef and green onions in it and then add the veggies and rice.
Stir-fry is one of the most requested meals at our house; and it is also good for potluck dinners.

These are "the bomb"! We use dehydrated vegetables for almost all of our stews and soups. I also have quite a few of the individual bags of dried veggies. Saves us $$. Quite often wind up throwing out veggies that have gone bad before we had the chance to use them.

I use mine every day as a breakfast cup of soup at work. A handful of dried veggies and cabbage, a large bullion cube, chicken flavored TVP, plus instant rice in a large mug of water microwaved for 2 minutes definitely beats no breakfast or something that I have to slave over the stove for early in the morning. I love these dehydrated vegetables and cabbage so much I had you folks ship some to my grandsons and their parents in Alaska recently. The boys really enjoyed their first pot of soup from what they told me when they called. Nice to know when teens enjoy veggies, isn't it?!!!

I am getting my long term storage up to date, and have wanted to be able to add pasta to the list. I have 1/2 gallon jars, 2 cups Air Dried Mixed Veggies, 5 Tbs chicken bullion powder and one bag of extra wide noodles in a jar. This is great soup and it all fits in this mason jar and I add O2 absorber and vacuum seal. I have a few jars that are 10yrs old and still good. I started adding the Mixed Veggies and now even the kids told me this weekend they could eat this all the time. Thank you for a great product. Specialk from Gaston S.C.

I bought the smallest bulk bag of these veggies, and lot them! I make a skillet meat and pasta meal and toss in some veggies, add this to my meatloaf mix for added flavor. But best of all, when I make homemade low sodium soup, all I do is put these in water, and NO chopping! Very flavorful, and they stay fresh! I'll be ordering more!

I shopped around a lot before trying this vegetable blend. Many of them out there are mostly potatoes. This is a delicious blend. When I opened the bag the first time I was so thrilled with the fresh vegetable scent. Buying in bulk brings the cost per pound down to half of what I can get in any store in my area, plus, the quality is way superior. I love putting a scoop into my organic rice pilaf and the corn kernels actually taste as if they were fresh! I'm trying to build and emergency food supply that is delicious enough to use throughout the year in my regular cooking so that it is never out of date and the costs are effectively combined. This fits the bill perfectly.

We use dried vegetables in everything. I'm a daycare provider, and this is a good way to make sure my kids have some vegetables every day. We are extremely satisfied with these products. Thank you North Bay Trading.

I use this everyday at work. My co-workers call it "Monster Soup". So good: 1 pack of Ramens, 4 spoon fulls of these veggies, an small can of corn and a small can of chicken with Cayenne pepper and 4 minutes in microwave. This soup smells incredible and I get comments daily asking what I a making that smells so good!

I am delighted with my recent order of air dried vegetables and dried tomatoes. Beautiful products in not only appearance, but quality. When I opened the packages, the smell was overwhelmingly fresh. I can't wait to use them in my favorite recipes. Wonderful products and prompt shipment. I'll definitely be ordering again and have already told several people about your dried vegetables.

I ordered this vegetable mix for my backpacking trips and it is a complete hit each time I make dinner on the trail. They add so much flavor to any meal, weigh almost nothing and are inexpensive compared to other brands. When I am at home, I usually cook everything from scratch, but when I am out of time or vegetables for my cooking - these are the best! Will buy them again as soon as I get through the bulk bag that I purchased.

I was so glad to find your site. A small container of dried mixed veggies in the stores (when you can find them) are so expensive and not a variety. I add these to soups, casseroles, specially steamed rice as it cooks, and to cream cheese to make a delicious spread or dip. Even gave packages as gifts at Christmas to my family. Can't be beat!

I ordered a big bag of these dried vegetables after enjoying them years in the soup mixes North Bay sells. On their own they work in other soups, but also casseroles, and omelets and all sorts of stuff, sometimes just cooked with tofu and rice for an easy dinner. There is so much in one bag that even with a family of 5 I've been using the same bag of bulk vegetables for two winters. This is a great purchase and a great value.
