Review by: David~ Tasty, Nutritious, Excellent Value ~Knew these relatively-mild dried chilis would be loved, purchasing 20 lbs without having ever tried them. What a wonderful flavor in my soups and stews, adding just enough "zip" to be satisfying without overheating the food. The huge amount of vitamin C is a main reason these were ordered, though they're also packed with plenty of vitamin A as well as lots of beneficial antioxidant carotenoids. This bulk package will last me right at a year and a half, just perfect! These will be used in everything from my regular soups and stews to scrambled eggs and omelets. A very satisfying NBT product once again!

Review by: Uncommon SenseFabulousThese chili peppers have just the right amount of subtle heat--spicy enough for the adults to enjoy, but tame enough for the kids to handle, and have rich underlying flavor that makes dishes delicious. No more soggy green chilies from a can, or rotten ones in the fridge we couldn't get to fast enough, and these have much more flavor than the fresh ones I can get at my local grocer. These are fabulous! I add to Enchiladas (a family favorite), scrambled eggs, chili, meatloaf, or anything that needs a subtle kick of flavor with some savory heat. These are the best chilies I have found, and I use them often! Thanks, Northbay, for another truly excellent product!

Review by: country momCan't be beat! These are fairly difficult to find online. I purchased two of the small 4 oz. Bags of these chili peppers and they almost completely filled my half - gallon mason jar. I always store my dry herbs and dried veggies in canning jars. They stay fresh for a very long time.

Review by: PHDNormally I don't like hot, but I like the heat level of theseThese are the first spicy chilis I've ever enjoyed - they aren't too hot - they respect your taste buds. I add to scrambled eggs, soups, chili, barbeque, sloppy joes, refried beans and corn muffins for a hint of heat. Very tasty.

Review by: casalindaPerfect Green Chili FlavorI re-hydrated the dried chilis in boiling water, following the directions. They did double in size and smelled great. I added them to some pinto beans and they had an awesome flavor. They were a little spicy without a lingering heat. 10 times better than any canned chili I have ever used! I also added the air dried onions and air dried garlic. All the flavors were so great, I didn't even have to add any other seasonings.

Review by: blYour days of tiny little cans of chili's are over my friend.I don't know what exact pepper these babies are- but I can tell you, they pack heat- but it's a gentle, sweet heat- much like an Ortega- without the bitterness.
They are great tossed in soups and stews- and if you rehydrate a tbsp for a few minutes- your scrambled eggs will thank you.(Posted on
