My one year old daughter LOVES these dried strawberries (so does mom). They are great because they just melt in your mouth.

I am very happy with this product because of how these strawberries are packaged (I bought a couple of 1lb foil bags). The bags are factory sealed (they are resealable like Ziploc bags), and they also put a couple of small absorber packets (don't eat them! :)) into the bags, which makes the fruit perfectly dry. It would be totally perfect if they shipped them in individual boxes rather than bags in a shipping box, but I do understand it will draw the price up, so bags are OK.
Other places that sell in bulk (like nuts online) just send you a big 2-lb plastic bag of these tied with a knot at the top. The fruit is not perfectly dry, and it gets more and more moisture as it sits in your house. So I switched to these strawberries because they are packed much better.
The only thing that pisses me off is that my credit card gets charged at check out instead of when they ship but I can live with that; I am only buying this stuff 2-3 times a year.

I live in California and can buy strawberries fresh most of the year. However, having these dried strawberries on hand is very convenient. We add to our morning cereal and I throw some in salads. Can be used in many ways like adding to a fruit salad as they rehydrate from the liquids of fresh or canned fruit. Even add to jello. The hot liquid dehydrates them. Definitely a keeper!

I have tried several on line stores to find freeze dried fruit that meet our expectations, and these Strawberries did ... and MORE. Great fresh strawberry flavor- we love to eat them plane, or in cereal. When my kids get home from school, they ignore any candy or cookies in the house and go straight for the fruit. My daughter brought some to her Life Skills class as school when she did a report on healthy after school snacks. She got an A.

I've got white furniture, so no way I would risk fresh strawberries while watching a movie. Yet popcorn needs so much salt and butter to make it good.... Not for my healthy lifestyle. So... I find these wonderous delights explode with concentrated strawberry flavor, yet are completely mess free for eating anywhere. No more potato chips...Strawberry chips! ;)
