My recipe for instant oatmeal
Use a wide mouth 1/2 pint canning jar
1/4 Cup 5 minute oatmeal, organic optional
1/2 tsp brown sugar, or organic sugar (optional)
1/2 tsp ground flax seeds or chia seeds
4-5 North Bay Trading Freeze Dried Raspberries
6-8 North Bay Trading Freeze Dried Blueberries
Near boiling water, fill 1/4 inch above level of oats and fruit. Let stand for 5 minutes with lid on. Take lid off, microwave for 30 seconds. Stir
This beats packaged instant oatmeal any day.
Substitute raspberries and blueberries with 4-5 North Bay Trading Freeze Dried Blackberries. It is an instant healthy cobbler desert.

I rather prefer these non-freeze dried, but I do enjoy adding them to cereal.

There is a reason that these products receive 5 star reviews! They are amazing! The flavor is deliciously "spot on." I purchased these for international travel. (Light weight. Healthy.) When I opened the first package (apples), I was sold!!! When I tried the raspberries, I was simply addicted! These are so flavorful! I will purchase more when I get back to the US...just for every day snacking! Kudos for products well done!

Aside from being delicious, these raspberries have kept their freshness far longer than other places I have ordered in the past. I am happy I found you!

These were awesome :) I don't like raspberries wet because of the texture, and the best part: my 1 year old devours them

I could not believe how delicious these respberries were. They never made in into a smoothie-they were gobbled up as snacks. Such a fresh taste... Great item !

Oh, the syrup also sweetens iced tea very nicely too for an alcohol free drink.

With summer here, I created a simple syrup for Mojito's with these freeze dried raspberries. Great concentrated flavor gave it the pop it needed. When simmering syrup I added 1 cup fresh mint leaves, 1/2 cup of FD Raspberries and 1/2 vanilla bean. Cool, strain and mix...awesome!

Easy to Prepare
- Use dry as a healthy snack, as an addition to trail mixes, and as a crunchy topping for cereals and desserts.
- For most other applications, hydrate by soaking for 5 minutes in a generous amount of cold or hot water (hot water works slightly better). Then drain.
Yield — 1 oz equals about 1 1/2 cup dry with very low moisture content.
Rehydration Ratio — 1 lb of freeze dried whole raspberries, once rehydrated, equals approximately 7 lbs of fresh prepared raspberries.
Storage — Best if used within 24 months of purchase. Store tightly sealed while minimizing exposure to high humidity and heat.
