OutstandingReview by DorothyI actually purchased the organic peas but could not leave a review because they are out of stock. They were outstanding in my tuna noodle casserole today....it was like they were fresh peas right out of the garden after they were hydrated. Do not hesitate to purchase.

Nice snackReview by MalcolmThese taste similar to frozen peas. For snacking, I suggest adding a little water and salt (as they are a bit hard when dry). For example, 40g peas + 80g water + 1/16th tsp salt.

So Handy so goodReview by DonnaI bought the freeze dried peas to use in recipes that call for a handful of peas so I didn't need to open a can or have a opened bag of peas in the freezer. I have used them in soups and stir fry, tonight in fried rice. They are wonderfu,l so good.

Totally amazing!Review by MarcieI bought these mainly to add to soups and stews. Rehydrated some one evening to add to a turkey and gravy leftover dish and my husband thought they were fresh peas. But the problem with these peas is that I have become addicted to them as a crunchy snack. I have to be careful not to eat too many at a time! Waiting to share with my grandsons.

Versatile veggie !!Review by TerrSo far I have used these tasty FD peas to replace high fat croutons on a salad; as a lovely green & healthy garnish in a bowl of canned soup (Green pea or mushroom!). When my homemade green pea soup, from dried peas was a bit thin, I just smashed some of these peas (in a zip lock bag) added the pieces and powder to thicken my soup. These peas added a wonderfully fresher taste to my traditional recipe. Open the bag, taste a few, they are crunchy, and taste like they were just picked and pulled from the pods! I have to buy more ASAP!

Love these peas!Review by ElaineNo cleaning, and no waste. And that's just the beginning of why I love these freeze dried peas. They're fantastic to add to any dish calling for peas; last night we had them in Kofteli Bezelye -- Turkish meatballs and sweet peas. Love these in everything we've tried them in -- curries, soups, and stews. And did I mention how handy they are?

Good for people AND dogsReview by SuzanneI have ordered several times from North Bay Trading for my family and have really enjoyed their products. I recently got a puppy and have been doing a lot of training with her. Because we do so much training with treats, she was starting to get a little roly poly. I was trying to find a treat that she would love and that would be healthier for her than all of the high fat dogs treats out there and realized that she and our other dog LOVE vegetables. In the interest of saving time and hassle I thought of using the freeze dried peas and sweet potatoes. They work just as hard for the veggies as they did for the cheese and meat treats and both of them have lost weight. We are all happy :-)

Very GoodReview by winifredI snacked on these freeze dried peas for weeks. Way better than canned peas. I thought they tasted a bit like popped corn, slightly salty and a little sweet.

Great for school lunchesReview by MelI was looking for some veggie options for my kids school lunches. I was so happy that my kids actually said that they liked these freeze dried peas. They liked that they weren't wet and soggy and liked that they were crunchy. I can't get them to eat a handful of cooked peas but they had no problem snacking on these. I am will be ordering more of these and other freeze dried vegetables. Packing healthy lunches has been easy since I found this site. Thank you!

Was very disappointedReview by zazzuDid not like these peas either right out of the can or added to some stew that I made. They took a long time to rehydrate and had very little sweetness IMO.
I'll probably grind them up and add them to pea soup as thickener.(Posted on

Tastes fresh picked, yet they're crunchy.Review by TerrLike the freeze dried corn, these freeze dried whole peas have a great taste and are crunchy. They taste like just-picked garden peas! I even used them as a garnish on homemade soup. Which reminds me, this company makes wonderful soup mixes!
