Comes out just like frozen Spinach

No issues with this and it stores well. The first time I served this rehydrated you couldn't tell the difference between frozen spinach and freeze-dried. If I didn't already have a bunch of cans from dividing a 10lb box I would buy some more. This is a great way to add extra nutrition to lots of dishes.

Delicious. It has a sweet flavor. It is easier than frozen or fresh and the flavor is just as good or better. No more slimy wasted spinach leaves to feel guilty about. I love this. Thank you!

Tasty and nutritious

Excellent spinach. I use a lot of spinach normally but only cooking for two it can wilt before using the entire package. I like this right out of the bag, tasty. Great in eggs. Highly recommend.

I love this spinach, I used to buy on Amazon until I found this website and let me tell I am glad I did, theirs is good but the freeze dried spinach here is a lot fresher tasting, bigger pieces and the taste is out of this world. The price is reasonable and all my items get delivered fast. I have recommended this to my nurse that take care of me and when they tried both the fruit and vegetables and agreed with me this site provides great products at great prices! will keep buying long into the future thank you again for the great food

Better Than Fresh - Is That Possible?

I absolutely love this dried spinach for so many things. In eggs, smoothies, baked goods, stuffing, and even as a snack. The flavor is outstanding. Delicate, fresh, slightly sweet. It's nice to add to dishes that you don't want the extra sogginess from fresh or frozen!

YUM!

We are big spinach lovers, both fresh and frozen. The first time we tried this freeze dried spinach we were blown away! FAR better than fresh or frozen, it was so delish we ate it straight. It didn't even need salt or butter. Kudos to the farmer that grew this. Best spinach, bar none, we've ever eaten! Convenient, and since you cook only the amount you'll eat, no waste. But then, my family gobbled it up too fast for leftovers. Coming back for more!

This spinach is great for cooking for one or two!

Since I am down to cooking for two, it is nice to get great nutrition in a non-spoiling form. I often have waste when I buy fresh fruit and vegetables because they are not cheap when purchased individually. If I buy fresh produce in bags to make the price reasonable, I find that I can't use it up before it goes bad. I can buy freeze dried foods with the same nutritional value as fresh without the waste. As for this spinach, I eat this spinach dry! It is that good! It is very fragrant and fresh, mostly leaves with very, very few stems. I use it in all my soups and stews, and it is great for spinach dips! It is also great to turn to powder using my blender and then mixing it into hamburgers, meatloaves, and sauces to get some greens into my picky-eater grandson, who hates anything green!

Great product!

Love this freeze dried spinach; I use it a lot in cooking. It's convenient and high quality. Very fragrant when you open the bag, and easy to use. I put it in pasta sauces, curries, soups, stratas -- basically anything you can think of. It's great in everything.

Love this Spinach!

This spinach is phenomenal! I love greens, but up until now the only greens in my long term storage was the Korean laver sheets (a kind of salted seaweed used for sushi). I am so pleased with your excellent quality FD spinach! This spinach is so delicious and convenient! It's great in everything I make: dips, soups, meat loaves, lasagna, pasta dishes, or even just eaten out of the bag. I love how freeze drying maintains the fresh smell and taste of the spinach compared to fresh spinach.

So Great - A New Basic In My Pantry

I've always liked spinach in many different dishes, but it has been impractical to just toss some in. Fresh doesn't keep that long in the frig, and can taste weird depending on how it was fertilized. Frozen and canned spinach are usually almost slimy and unpleasant. This freeze dried spinach solves my problems like magic. I can gleefully toss as much as I want into anything, without any hassle. It turns into what seems like lightly sauteed fresh pieces of spinach. The flavor, color, and texture are great. I most highly recommend this product especially to people who might eat on the run a lot, because you can get a serving of vegetables, that taste great and enhance your dish, just by throwing some of this into ramen, chili, eggs, tuna, or what have you.

Fantastic!

Absolutely the best for "stealth nutrition" for my kids! I sprinkle some crumbled spinach in virtually everything I make. They think that it's parsley, lol. Sneaky mommy, I know, but I figure that they are getting a couple of servings of spinach per week without even knowing it. I'm going to be a returning customer for sure!

This is such a great product. I add freeze dried spinach to my soups in a jar mixes, to spaghetti sauce and it is excellent on pizza. I will definitely buy the bigger size next time.

Excellent tasteful product

I was given a sample by my sister from her latest order and oh boy am I sold. Partially re-hydrated this and the Euro mushroom mix for a flavorful topping on pizza. Wonderful concentrated aroma and flavor that enhanced my recipe. Highly addictive. Personally, I wasn't very fond of the flavor straight out of the bag, but that is personal taste. I am planning on using some in a quiche next. (Thanks Quiche maker for the tip!)

Love this spinach

When I saw the freeze dried spinach description I hesitated but after reading the reviews decided to try it. It's wonderful. I've put it in rice dishes and always throw a handful in soup. So far I've bought small bags of everything I've ordered but will be ordering a larger bag of this next time.

This is a must-have!

Who knew this spinach would be so good? Since my smallish trial bag of freeze dried spinach arrived a couple of weeks ago, I have been making just about every dinner "florentine" in some way. The color is beautiful and when I put it in a side dish to rehydrate before adding to whatever's for dinner, the aroma is wonderful. Very versatile for soups, salads, dips, and even a little bit in other mixed veggie dishes. I will make sure to never run out and will definitely order a larger size next time.

What a find!!

I made 2 quiche for the holidays, and used this freeze dried spinach in place of the messy frozen spinach. Just break larger leaves, and mix in with the shredded cheesees and ham. I did add about 2 or 3 Tbsp extra milk per quiche to allow for the spinach to re-hydrate while baking. I will be ordering this again, its great hidden in tomato sauce/pasta dishes too.

EXCELLENT CHOICE!

I'm certain that even "Popeye" would favor this fresh freeze-dried spinach over his traditional can of spinach! The bright green color and aroma is delightful, and the flavor is even more delicious than any frozen spinach that I've ever enjoyed. Next time I'll be buying the larger bags of this wonderful low-carb veggie!
