They have the right touch of sweetness too. The chips I find in the stores are a bit too hard for my taste, so I'm thrilled to have a long-term storable option in these freeze-dried slices.

I've wanted to order freeze dried fruits and veggies for years, but the price was daunting to me. With my living circumstances, now was the time if I ever wanted 'fresh' fruits and veggies. I ordered a variety of items, ALL have been amazing! The bananas along with several other fruits I ordered went into a huge batch of instant oatmeal packets, (I used 42 oz of oatmeal kind of huge batch). I basically used all the fruits I did not 'taste test' first lol. Soooo good! The price actually is not at all bad when you consider what you get! I'm hooked.

I was looking for a more convenient way to add banana to my morning meal and these fit the bill. This is a great product! The bananas are at the ripeness I prefer and they arrive with a lightly crunchy, tasty texture that makes it hard to not just eat the whole bunch right away. This product is SO much better than the banana chips that are fried in oil. They look like real bananas compared to the fried chips and are just as crispy. I'm looking forward to trying out NBT's other offerings. Well done NBT!

Having previously tried many different manufacturers, the North Bay bananas are the most crisp and flavor filled ever. They explode in your mouth with great texture and flavor. Worth the price.

Easy to Prepare
- Use dry as a healthy snack, as an addition to trail mixes, and as a crunchy topping for cereals and desserts.
- For most other applications, hydrate by soaking for 5 minutes in cold or hot water (hot water works slightly better). Then drain.
Yield — 1 oz equals about 1/2 cup dry with less than 4% moisture content.
Rehydration Ratio — 1 lb of freeze dried bananas, once rehydrated, equals approximately 7 lbs of fresh prepared sliced bananas.
Storage — Best if used within 24 months of purchase. Store tightly sealed while minimizing exposure to high humidity and heat.
