This is our second order from NBT and we have not been disappointed in any of the items we ordered. We held off on ordering a large amount of fruit items due to the naturally high cost but every item we've tried has been well worth the expense. The mango dices don't have an in your face flavor - much more subtle but good. Great mixed with pecans and various other fruits for a healthy quick energy pick me up.

I can't keep them in the kitchen. They eat mangos with everything! We now only get freeze dried mangos. My family won't eat any other fruit unless we run out of mango. I'm going to have to save up and buy the 20lb. box!

Review by: TerrTasty & versatlleSo far, I've mostly eaten the freee dried mango right out of the bag. But they were great tossed on a salad, for extra crunch instead of high fat croutons. Or, stir in some mango pieces in Cool Whip, and dollop on vanilla ice cream. Yum!

Easy to Prepare
- Use dry as a healthy snack, as an addition to trail mixes, and as a crunchy topping for cereals and desserts.
- For most other applications, hydrate by soaking for 5 minutes in a generous amount of cold or hot water (hot water works slightly better). Then drain.
Yield — 1 oz equals about 1/2 cup dry with very low moisture content.
Rehydration Ratio — 1 lb of freeze dried diced mango, once rehydrated, equals approximately 6 lbs of fresh prepared mango.
Storage — Best if used within 24 months of purchase. Store tightly sealed while minimizing exposure to high humidity and heat.
