I just added some of the FD cauliflower to a package of red beans and rice mix, just to add veggies to the blend. The FD cauliflower retained its shape and kept its flavor quite well. All I needed to do was add about a third cup of water to the package instructions, and in the last few minutes of cooking added one cup of the cauliflower so it had time to absorb into the spicy rice & bean mix. My next idea is to add some FD cauliflower to the hot water/milk/oleo mix just before I add the flakes of instant mashed potatoes. The FD cauliflower reconstitutes quickly, then add the potato flakes. What a great product and a really good way to add veggies to foods.

These are amazing - absolutely addictive! Besides being a wonderful guilt-free snack, you can also crush freeze dried cauliflower into powder, mix with liquid of choice (I like to add unsweetened almond milk and a bit of fat free sour cream) and use as a delicious and healthy alternative to mashed potatoes!

This product rehydrates to taste perfection. I used 4 cups in my recent soup and it did not disappoint. I notice that some folks like fd straight from the bag - while the smell of this cauliflower is wonderful, I am not used to the straight from the bag taste yet. Oranges straight from the bag yes - veggies = jury still out on that!
