I haven't tried cooking with this yet, but the flavor and aroma of it just out of the package and eaten "as is" is great. Very much like fresh garlic, and better than dehydrated garlic granules you can get in the store. I am very pleased with this garlic. I ordered 10 pounds, and it filled 7.25 quart jars.

I love this dried garlic! I keep a small mason jar of this garlic near the stove. It gets added to so many recipes and I don't feel guilty about not peeling & smashing raw garlic cloves, not even a little bit. No more throwing garlic cloves gone rotten or dried out into the composter.
The flavor is strong and fresh-tasting. I sprinkle it directly into soups and stews. I also rehydrate it with some of the dehydrated onions in a cup of water for an hour, drain, and saute just like fresh chopped garlic & onion for a great starter to lots of recipes. It makes everything taste better and is so easy to use.

Easy to Prepare
- Add garlic while slow cooking soups, chilies, stews, sauces, and other foods with sufficient liquid content.
- For most other applications, hydrate using 1 part dried garlic and at least 4 parts water. For raw flavor, soak in cold water and refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
- Add additional water if necessary.
Yield — 1 oz equals about 1/4 cup dry. In general, our air dried vegetables double in volume when hydrated.
Storage — Best if used within 18 months. Store tightly sealed in a dry location away from sunlight.
