- Great source of Vitamin A and C.
Common uses: Like many of our air dried vegetables, dried cilantro is often added to salsa, soups, entrees, Mexican cuisine, and garnishes.
Packaging: Bagged selections are in resealable poly bags. Bulk box orders use sealed plastic bag inside sturdy cardboard box.
GMO free: Our partner growers and processors have assured us of no genetically modified crops. Please note we do not perform laboratory testing to verify this.
Easy to Prepare
- Add dried cilantro flakes while cooking sauces, casseroles, dips, Italian sauces, herb blends, salad dressings, stuffing mixes, garnishes, breads, and other foods with sufficient liquid content.
- For most other applications, hydrate using 1 part dried cilantro and 7 parts cold water (ice water is ideal) for 5 - 10 minutes.
- Add additional water if necessary.
Yield — 1 oz equals about 1 cup dry. In general, our air dried vegetables double in volume when hydrated.
Storage — Best if used within 18 months. Store tightly sealed in a dry location away from sunlight.
