Customer Reviews
This solves the problem of having to buy a bunch of celery for one or two recipes. Nothing gets thrown away and the reconstituted dried celery is excellent.

So much better than the celery flakes. My only wish is that I would have found these sooner, tastes wonderful!

I simply can't believe how long I've been using the inferior type of "celery flakes" from the more popular name brand companies. These 'Air Dried Celery' cuts are simply divine! Each cut is uniform in size, and when re-hydrated, is every bit as delightful as fresh celery; both in aroma and taste.

For the value, you get a huge amount of dried celery to use in soups, and simmered dishes. Consistent sized pieces. I am mixing some with onions and dried carrots to make a dried mirepoix mix that's ready to use whenever I need it! Will definitely buy again.

Easy to Prepare
- Use this air dried vegetable dry, right out of the bag, while cooking soups, chilies, stews, and other foods with sufficient liquid content.
- For most other applications, hydrate using 1 part dry celery and 7 parts water.
- For raw flavor and crisp texture, hydrate using cold water, stir, cover, and refrigerate for 60 minutes or overnight.
- For faster hydration, simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Yield — 1 oz equals about 2/3 cup dry. Doubles in volume when hydrated.
Storage — Best if used within 18 months. Store tightly sealed in a dry location away from sunlight.
